What Causes Recurrent Bronchitis?

Hi I have had bronchitis for over 4 weeks now. I was treated for it by an antiobiotic about 2 weeks ago. It worked while I was on it, but now that I'm off, the cough has returned. In addition to the cough, I now have dizziness throughout the day and I am not sure what the cause of this is.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Bronchitis is inflammation of airways. And due to this edema and secretions are accumulated in lumen.
So patient is having cough, expectoration, wheezing, breathlessness etc.
More than antibiotics, patient needs antihistamines, anti inflammatory drugs for symptomatic relief and suppress inflammation.
Inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid are also indicated to reduce edema and wheezing.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these. You need above mentioned drugs for better symptomatic relief.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
