General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

So far as symptoms narrated here, the source of bleeding is colon via recurrent inflammation from diverticulitis. There can be secondary hemorrhoid, if much symptomatic can be treated with laser in best way.

Concurrent treatment of diverticulitis on regular basis, strict diet control help to prolong the remission time period of bleeding in stool. Do not panic for carcinoma here.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
