Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the voice is affected, then it is suggestive of larynx infection. Your indirect laryngoscopy examination and posterior pharynx examination should be done.

You have mentioned about a lump over tonsil, I feel it might not be a lump, it will be inflammatory swelling. If after the examination the lump formation is confirmed, then a biopsy can be taken. For an infectious etiology, ASO titer, CBC and throat swab like investigations are planned. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for further examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
