I went camping last week and didn t shower for 3 days and honestly wasnt able to change my underwear (I should have) on the morning of the last day I went to the portopotty and noticed a rash on the right side, inner fold of my thigh. It doesnt itch nor burn but it s been there for about 5 days. I m wondering what it could be. I ve done research and it seems to be a sort of fungus or rash but I m unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You seem to be right. The rash on inner thigh would candidosis ...a fungal infection caused by Candida albicans. And that is due to poor hygiene.
Now onwards, you must improve hygiene. Take a bath in dettol water. You can take Sitz bath in dettol water to improve the inner thighs enviornment. Antifungal tab like ketoconazole may be taken for two weeks. Apply clotrimazole dusting powder after bath and clotrimazole cream at night.
I hope this would help you.
Thanks.
