What Causes "epithelial Cells-8-10" In Urine Analysis During Pregnancy?

my wife is 9 weeks pregnant.last day she went for urine analysis and the result shows

PUS CELLS- 3-4 hpf
RBC - 0-2 hpf

and

Epithelial cells - 8-10


and its showing more than the normal value??/

is there anything to worry about????

Hi..during pregnancy there are more chances of urinary track infection which lead to such finding on urine analysis. If I would be your doctor then would suggest you tab.cefixime 200 mg 2 times a day for 5 days.as it is given on prescription please talk to your local doctor for the same.thanks.
