What Causes Post Nasal Drip And Chest Congestion After Taking Cipralex ?

hello. I started taking Cipralex 10 mg. three weeks ago for depression. I seem to have experienced every possible side effect! increased anxiety, extreme sleepiness, constipation etc. Last week I thought I was getting a cold, but I still have post nasal drip and chest congestion..I am now wondering if this is an allergic reaction to the Cipralex?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms don't seem to be related to a side effect of Cipralex.
The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
I recommend using a decongestant to relieve the postnasal drip.
I also recommend to drink a lot of liquids and rest.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
