Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As this sounds to me the weakness of the muscles of the hip and the knee. Usually, due to the weakness of the muscles, the joints become little unstable leading to popping sounds and etc.

Doing simple static exercises for the hip and thigh muscles will help have recovery from the same.

Exercises includes - static gluteus, static adductors, static abductors, static quadriceps, static hamstring, etc. Will provide benefit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
