What Causes Persistent Tingling And Burning Sensation In Feet And Toes?

I have had tingling and burning in bottom of feet & toes for 3 years. I have tried 2 neurologists, podiatrist, chiropractor, physiotherapy, acupuncture, naturopath, shock wave therapy, and others, plus have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on medication, but nothing has worked. 1 neurologist said it s likely idiopathic peripheral neuropathy . Do you have any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to peripheral neuropathy.

I see that you have already tried different treatments.

I suggest to check the blood glucose level to exclude the diabetes which can be a cause.

I also suggest using Gabapentin to relieve the symptoms.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
