Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, yes persistent dry cough may have caused local erosion of throat mucosa and might have caused the blood tinge in the mouth however a more detailed work up like chest X-ray or chest examination by your primary care physician should be done to rule out any chronic infection like tuberculosis or any other cause of pulmonary hemorrhage. The chance of the blood coming from gut though cough is meager but is still a possibility but need of endoscopy isn't immediate unless lung caused aren't ruled out. Using lozenges and antitussive like ammonium chloride containing cough syrup may help. Anti histamines like Cetrizine or can be used to decrease throat irritation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
