What Causes Persistent And Recurring Fever In A 7 Year Old Child?
Hi my son is 7 year old he got fever last two days ... but today it has gone to 104 I gave meftal and it reduced to 99 gradually ... now it started to raise again to 103 ... Putting cold pack on his head ...I don t why it s happening and the reason... what to do I d it goes 104 again

avoid drugs and use cold packs until fever comes down to 102. give paracetamol after that only. look for other symptoms. if its viral, it will resolve within 5-7 days on itself. anything else needs an intervention. so i need some more symptoms and scan results to diagnose. although u can try broad spectrum antibiotic like azithromycin 500 od for 3 days
