What Causes Pelvic Pressure And Headaches While On Nuvaring?

I am on the nuvaring but the last few weeks have been tired, feeling pelvic pressure (slight not painful), headaches, and nausea. I have 3 kids and know the feeling of being pregnant and that's what it feels like. I also just had an abnormal pap last month and i'm supposed to go for a colposcopy in the next month. Any suggestions on whats wrong with me/?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to Nuvaring side effects. The most common side effects are spotting or bleeding between periods, sore breasts, nausea, or headaches. But these usually go away after 2 or 3 months.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
