What Causes Passage Of A 'string' Like Thing In Stools?

I just went to the bathroom and felt a "string" at my anus. I pulled and out came a strand covered in stool. When I examined it there were about 4 strands that looked like material fibers. The stool kind of looked like it had a green bean outer shell. I did eat green beans 2 days ago.
The strands were not moving and do not look like the tapeworm/threadworms pictures I googled.
