i have a pinniculitis about the size of a cantalope in my inner thigh just above the knee. it has been there for almost 2 years with no problems or pain until about 2 weeks ago when i noticed that it was now weeping. i have had blood work and mri and my doctor has now referred me to a surgeon. what are the risks esp since i am also a diabetic last a1c at 6.4. what are the risks if i dont have surgery
