What Causes Palpitations Between The Breast Along With Dizziness?

Hi. A couple weeks ago I started getting palpitations between my breasts but a couple inches higher up. They come on and off. But also, just one night, I got cold sweats and felt dizzy. That has not happened since but I m still getting the palpitations on and off. I just had a physical a couple months ago and except for adjusting my thyroid meds down, all was well. I am overweight but have no other issues.

Hello.... are your thyroid medications for hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism?
And have you adjusted them yourself or under the guidance of your doctor?
It is important because inadequate treatment of hyperthroidism or overtreating hypothyroidism would both lead to a rise in free thyroxine levels in the blood. This may be a probable cause for your palpitations.
I would advise you to get an ekg along with your thyroid function tests done.
It would help in identifying the cause for your symptoms.
Please consult your local doctor. Do not change drugs or modify doses by yourself.
