What Causes Painful Lump On The Back Of Head?

Iv had a bad head ache for the past two days. An today when I was rubbing my head trying to ease the pain I found a lump it s in the back of my head and it hurts to rub plus it s where most of my pain is comming from then up the side to the front. What could it be

This could most probably be folliculitis or another form of a minor abscess due to an unhealthy scalp. All that is required is cleaning the region and most probably antibiotic coverage. Please visit your doctor for the same.
