What Causes Painful Intercourse?

I gave birth almost 2 months ago and my bleeding stopped for a week and I started bleeding again I also started birth control and it seems like every time my husband and I try to have sex it hurts and I always end up bleeding again by the next day is that normal

I will suggest that you need to have good foreplay before actual sexual activity. This helps to provide good lubrication. It will help to reduce pain. If needed use water based lubricant jelly, at the time of intercourse.

Secondly the bleeding can be due to lack of lubrication or from uterus or cervical polyp or erosion of cervix.Please get gynec check up done for the same.
