What Causes Pain While Urinating During Menstruation?
Hi for several months now I am suffering during my period. Every month now when I'm on It always hurts to wee. I've had several urine samples taken over the past few months during each period and all have come back clear and saying there isn't an uti . My doctor thinks it's a form of period pain . The pain is a burning sensation when I wee . It's a shooting pain going from about top Of bladder to end where I wee . It's painful and the pain stops about 10minutes after weeing . I feel I should go to my gp and get a referall to a specialist x

According to your information, it is suggestive of Urinary Tract or bladder Infection or related painful period. Do one culture test of urine sample beside routine analysis to confirm the diagnosis. Urodynamic study may be needed in your case.
One pelvic ultrasound scan is also advisable to rule out uterine or cervical pathology like endometriosis or polyp etc.
TREATMENT: I suggest you to take one course of ANTIBIOTIC (like Ciprofloxacin) & URINE ALKALISER (to be taken with water). It will help to control urine infection.
PREVENTION: You must drink plenty of water (2.5 to 3 lit/ day) to flush out the body toxin, take cranberry juice (one glass) regularly, maintain genital hygiene properly, empty bladder in time, avoid unprotected sex (if you are sexually active) and wear clean-cotton underwear only.
Hope, it helps for you. Wish you good health and take care.
