What Causes Pain On The Ribs With Lung Cancer?

my husband has 4th stage lung cancer and is in his lungs, back, brain and liver. He is having pains here and there and now on right side which he is told it is his liver. He now has a pain in left side and sounds like his ribs are out of whack and a sharp pain and clunking sound. What do you think this is?

the pain on the rib and tenderness(pain on touching) is mostly due to erosion of rib by the cancer mass of lung.
analgesic tablets may be useful
or u can apply FENTANYL patch over the site with your doctor's advice
