What Causes Pain In Upper Abdomen Along With Metallic Taste In Mouth?

My husband has not felt well since Saturday. He thought it was a cold coming on, but...... he has pain now on the right side, upper abdomen. He has eaten very little since Saturday, he has slept a lot - very unusual for him. He is hot and cold at various times. He has a metallic taste in a dry mouth

Hi I did review your concern. These symptoms are indicative of viral flu or systemic illness. I would recommend you to get your husband evaluated for CBC, Liver function tests and ESR. Also evaluate for an infection in any other site of the body.
