What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen And Back After Childbirth?

Hi i am 27 i have upper abdomen pain and back since i had baby he is 6 months old now and during these 6 months i had 4 times time pain. This is very sever pain i can't tolerate the discomfort. first time happened when i was in hospital after delivery i had c section after failure of normal delivery and forceps after that twice i went to hospital emergency. The doctors were absolutely unhelpful and basically were guessing as to what was causing this pain. They did a blood test and urine test, as well as an x-ray. They could not tell me what was wrong. They gave me no medication for the pain. I had to wait for around 4 hours for the results to come through. They put a drip needle in my hand for no reason at all! After this long and painfull wait, the pain went away on its on. I was crying and screaming because the pain was so severe. Both times the story was the same, the doctors were unhelpfull and had no clue. Now, i am feeling the pain again, and I decided not to go to hospital.

Good evening mam. Well what you need to do is to consult a rheumatologist. Symptoms of back pain in ladies after pregnancy can be either due to excess stretch of ligaments or some conditions which get precipitated by pregnancy. Kindly get an MRI done if you haven't. What i am more concerned is about the inflammation of the spine. If you have a rheumatologist around do consult them
