Hi, If you are having pains in the pelvic region and your urine is dark then, you may have a urinary tract infection that needs to be treated. For this, a sample of urine must be tested and cultured for susceptible bacteria. On the other hand you may also simply be dehydrated and not drinking sufficient fluids and this may be the reason for the dark urine. Constipation alternating with runny bowel movements is likely unrelated but could signal a different problem which again should be examined and diagnosed by a physician.
