What Causes Pain In The Neck Extending To The Shoulders Having Endometriosis?
I have endometriosis server pain in my lower belly on left side the pain is so bad it s traveling throu my leg and stop at need cap.and my lower back pain.im awakening out of a ded sleep to server pain in my back.I have lots more wrong with me I m havering a hard time finding a dr who would help me out they want to fill me up with pain killers then they stop me cold turkey.i don t want the pills I want the problum fixt. I have annsideee ,height blood presher my heart races at noon time.all of this I can t find anyone wow can help me.i also have asma caughting chest hurts I find it hard to sleep nights.When I m awaking I have all agree .I blow my noses and chunks of green stuff comes out.also I have pain in my neck the pain gos to my shoulders down throu my arm.

You must have read and been told that this indeed is a difficult condition to manage. The endometriotic deposits flare up from time to time and cause significant pain. To answer your question - the pani in neck and shoulder is a possibility if the deposits are on the under surface of diaphragm, which is the muscle separating the chest from abdomen. The undersurface of this muscle is supplied by phrenic nerve which can get involved and cause referred pain to neck and shoulders as these areas are supplied by the same nerve. Pain management is the mainstay besides hormonal manipulation to suppress the deposits outside the uterus.
