What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of Throat Resonating To Ear?
hi for a few months now the left side of my throat has been hurting. Pain resonates to my left ear and just under the jaw line where ear meets neck. Its a constant nuisance dull ache like. If i put my finger in my ear and press hard the pain almost disappears. When moving my jaw i feel a tightness in the left side near glands i guess and opening of the pipeline. I have visited an ENT who suggested that I have something on my throat and sent me for an ultra sound, which came back totally normal and clear. Apart from this I feel great not sick or anything. Please help? Should I see another doctor
Hi. All these symptoms are suggestive of the following : There can a vascular tumor in this area, and ultrasonography may miss it because of the typical location. Since pressing in the ear Canaan is giving you a relief, there has to be something there. It is always the best to take another opinion of another ENT or Head and Neck Surgeon and go for contrast enhanced MRI to find out the reason and treat accordingly.
