What Causes Pain In Stomach Starting From Ribs?

my daughter is experiencing pain in her stomach it started up under her ribs and now is moving downward. it hurts whens she sits up, sneezes, coughs, or laughs. i had her jump up and down. that didnt seem to bother her too much as does the sit ups. but i push on her tummy and she starts to cry.

I understand your concern. You didn't mention how long your daughter has been suffering from this pain but regarding to your symptoms it look like it could be appendicitis. My suggestion is to visit your GP or go to emergency room as soon as possible to make proper examination and to exclude any emergency. Without well-time treatment, the condition of your daughter could be worsened.

Until than try to avoid intake of food, just let her drink water.
