I am having waves of pain in my lower right quadrant, mainly toward my pelvic and back hip area. Should I be concerned that this is involving an organ? I am on a maintenance dose of 5mg/7.5mg of prednisone daily for chronic urticaria (on steriod therapy since the age of 14, I am now 33). i have terrible allergies as well and am on Zyrtec(double the otc dose daily) I am also type 2 diabetic due to the steroid therapy with an average daily blood sugar of approxmately 135 taking 2k mg daily (morning and night) of metformin. I have been having gastric distress accompanied with the pain.
