What Causes Pain In Lung Area?

I have a dull ache that comes and goes in my right lung area near my sternum. It can move around at times as well. I would not even call it it pain its very mild but you know its there.......I smoked for 25 years and quit 8 months ago. My Doc has listened to my lungs and a ok. I had a chest axray about a year ago and it was ok. ECG's and blood work showed normal as well.

I can understand your concern.
First of all, no need to worry for major heart and lung diseases because your all reports are normal and you have left smoking.
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more likely.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid sudden jerky movements of chest.
3. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest.
4. Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
5. Also start calcium and vitamin d 3 supplements.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
