What Causes Pain In Lower Left Quadrant While Standing Or Sitting?

I have sharp shooting pain in LLQ when I stand up or start walking after I've been sitting. It only lasts a few seconds, but it feels like a knife.

It occurred today 10-15 times, yesterday about 5 times....My Dr. said

after I had a colonoscopy 3 years ago that I have diverticulosis. I have

never had diverticulitis. Does this sound like diverticulitis? what confuses me is that it always happens when I 'm moving. Oh, it happened when I coughed today, too.
