What Causes Pain In Jaw After Taking A Z-pack?

i was positive for strep on thursday, on my last z-pack antibiotic today, my right jaw is still very sore, hurts to move it in certain ways, can t open too far...i am fairly ok during the day, evenings the bottom falls out and i feel pretty bad. i never really had throat pain or blisters this time with the strep, more glands and jaw pain. do i just need to wait this out or do i need more antibiotics to kick it? thanks so much!!

Hi,

You just need to give it more a couple of days, be patient. The strep infection is not quite easy infection and takes time to subsides.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
