What Causes Pain In Hands And Feet With Nausea And Sweating?

My husband who is 62 is has been very exhausted and today almost fainted. He also has been having lots of pain in his hands, feet and shoulders. He was very nauseated today. Profusely sweating and started to lose consciousness. It lasted for about 45 minutes and seems to be a little better now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It sounds like your husband may be experiencing symptoms of a severe illness and should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Some possible causes of the symptoms you've described include heart attack, stroke, or a severe infection. However, it is important to note that there may be other causes, and a doctor can only make a proper diagnosis after a thorough examination. I recommend taking him to the nearest emergency room or contacting his primary care physician immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
