General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to the sprain.
Sprains take 3 to 6 weeks, or longer to heal. A sprained hand may be treated with a splint or elastic wrap for support.
You may also use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
