Hi, i had a cardio angiogram two weeks ago and stent was inserted in my artery. Only for the last couple of days i've been getting a very very mild pain in my left arm and also pins and needles in my left hand, is that something to be concerned about?

Dear- thanks for using our service.I understand your concern and will help you with my medical advise. You can have a phlebitis after a stent procedure. When you have a stent placed, it has a catheter that goes through your vessel into the heart and sometimes you can have an inflammation of the area. The numbness or pins and needles could be a local irritation of the nerves in the area.Try to keep the arm elevated and put cold compresses for the first 48 hrs. It will get better in few days. You can take an analgesic as ibuprofen to improve the pain.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
