I have stretch marks from my first pregnancy seven years ago on my inner thighs in the groin area, over the last year or so any time I wear skirts or leggings or do any significant amount of walking even in thicker clothing the stretch marks swell and become painful. They swollen area is usually about an inch long along the stretch mark and the swelling is soft to the touch not hard, it becomes to painful that all I can do is sit down and wait for it to stop. It's not a boil, there is no infection, it's not warm to the touch though it is red from irritation, it's not an area that I shave either. I haven't found anything that will relieve the pain or swelling as of yet but it does go down on it's own within a day or two usually. My question is, what are these lumps? Is there something that I can do about them?
