My boyfriend has pain that he describes as pressure in his rectum area after masturbation and sexual intercourse. The pain sometimes comes on during sex right before he ejaculates, and then comes on later. This occurred to him last night after we had sexual intercourse and the pressure woke him up from sleep. We had sexual intercourse at approximately 4pm and then the pressure awoke him at 5:00 am. He mentioned to me that this has been occurring since he was 16 years old. He is pretty healthy other than his high blood pressure which is untreated. He is a 24 year old male. No problems with urinating and no pain anywhere other than his rectum area. He described it as a Charlie horse and pressure The only way he can get relief from the pain is if he sits on the toilet and stretches out his buttocks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My boyfriend does not like to go to the doctor, so I am wondering if this is a serious issue and if I should encourage him to seek med advice.
