What Causes Pain And Bloating Of Stomach After Eating Food?

I had a gastroscopy and a colonoscopy done and the specialist said that my stomach takes a long time to process the foods i have eaten. When I have dairy products, pies, popcorn my tummy bloats and i experience pain. I have been diagnosed wth Hashimoto's thyriditis. Are these connected?

Hello,

Yes, Gut is the center for 90% body lymphoid tissue. Antigen presentation takes place here only.

Conditions like leaky gut syndrome or IBS lead to abnormal antigen presentation lead to autoimmune diseases like hypothyroidism or psoriasis or eczema etcetera.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid the food that troubles your gut. Please consult your gastroenterologist so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
