What Causes Pain After Bowel Movements?

hi sir for past 3 months am suffering for pain after bowel moment for several hours am using ayurvedic medicine but still problem is there and also doing sitz bath daily in past 20 days but pain is still going pls suggest to treatment for my problem.

Hello dear,
I understand your concern. Pain after defecation may be due to hemorrhoids or anal fissure.It may be because of constipation. The first thing is to avoid straining at the time of defecation and avoid constipation. You should drink more water and consume more vegetables and fruits to avoid constipation.if i would be your treating doctor i would recommend anovate ointment for rectal application. You may try some laxatives if you still have constipation. Anovate ointment will reduce the inflammation and pain in the rectum. If the pain persists you may take some pain killers orally(like paracetamol). hope i answered your question.thank you
