I am a 49 year old Woman who in the last year has had 2 angioplasty bypasses that failed. I recently had a surgery called aortobifemoral bypass and am wondering if I should be feeling numbness in my leg and tingling from thigh to knee after 8 weeks. Is this normal or should I be concerned??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Feeling of numbness and tingling after surgery is a normal phenomenon.During surgery some of superficial nerves get severed. That takes about 12 weeks for the regeneration and healing of nerves.
