General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Burning with numbness is a sign of neurogenic pain. The typical sight suggests nerve pressure on the sciatic nerve. Pressure can be at the spinal or sciatic notch.

A detailed physical examination supported by MRI scanning would pinpoint the causative sight.

Treatment would be cause-specific(medicines, vitamin B12 supplements, physiotherapy).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
