What Causes Nose Bleed After Nasal Cauterization?

Hello, I have just had to cauterize my left nose two days after I had cauterized my right. My right has just bled again. I applied presser and it stopped about 3 min later. To be fair i did pick at something that was annoying me a second before it started up again. The right did bleed again for 3 or 4 min the day it was burnt but I dismissed it as not having time to heal. Should I be worried? For work related reasons I would really love to hear that this is normal. I just want these nose bleeds to end!

Hello

The bleeding is likely to be due to the nose picking and the best treatment is o avoid the same. I would normally give my patients an ointment to apply over the cauterized area. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Thanks
