What Causes Nausea,headache,acne Break Out And Smelling Of Ammonia Smell?

I keep randomly smelling a strong ammonia like smell. It s not constant & maybe only happens once or twice every other day or so & no one else smells it. I may be pregnant as well. I have nausea, dull headaches, just this week started having food cravings & aversions, I m frequently urinating, I ve had mild abdominal cramping, I ve been having confusion/forgetfullness, I missed my period, I ve been having white creamy discharge, being very emotional, little acne breakout (I typically have extremely clear skin), lack of energy/sleeping more. Although I took 3 pee tests & they werenegative for preganancy I still want to get a blood test & ultrasound to be sure. If I am pregnant, I think I d be like, 7 weeks. If I m not pregnant, what s wrong with me? I m so concerned about the ammonia smell. I ve also had mild left sided chest pains when I lay on my right side sometimes & I had a little pain in my lower back a few weeks ago on & off. I m 18 if that helps at all.

Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options .

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you have repeated negative pregnancy test reports, you can safely assume that you are not pregnant.

3 ) in case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
Please ask the sonologist to look for PCOS in the ovaries.
4 ) if all tests are negative for pregnancy, then your symptoms can be due to Pre menstrual syndrome.

5 ) I will suggest you Tab B LONG F, PRIMOSA, Vitamin E one each every night for 3 months.
I will suggest you to indulge in a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Avoid deep fried foods, bakery products and refined sugars. .
