What Causes Menstrual Bleeding Twice After Taking An ECP?

i took an emergency contraceptive pill 2 weeks ago. at that time, my periods were 15 days away. I had bleeding and a normal flow 7 days after i took the pill and thought it was my periods just occurring a week before their normal time due to the pill. Now, on the 20th, that my periods were actually due(normally), i again had bleeding which has continued till a day. i m confused whether this is again a monthly period, only occurring twice a month. I m confused.

Hi,

The last one is a monthly period. The intake of emergency contraception pills make endometrium to shade and causes this cycle irregularities. Try to use a constant protection method the next moths.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
