What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain And Right Groin Pain?

Hi, I am a 29 year old male that is experiencing dull (achy-like) pain on and off throughout the day for the past 4 weeks. I am a paramedic and was under a lot of stress when one day i began to have diarrhea and some lower right abdminal pain. I waited a few days but pain remained moving from right lower abd, to right groin, to middle of abd. The diarrhea stopped but i had irregular bowel movements. The pain shifted throughtout my lower abd, from right to left always below my belly button. Now since I had lower right abd pain i went to MD and was cleared of Appendicitis, I had no pain on palp, no temp, and no swelling. Also i had no signs of a hernia. So after the visit, i still had the ache off and on from day to day. Since the MD appointment I had 2 more boughts of diarrhea and 1 bought of constipation within the past three weeks. My vitals are all normal, I just passed a cardiac stress test for a fire job (unrelated to these symptoms) I have had no nausea or vomitting, I have had a normal diet, no weight loss, no bloody or dark stool, I'm passing urine fine with no pain or problems. The ache has mostly remianed on my right lower abd, right groin area but like i said before sometimes is in the middle and in lower left abd. I am still able to have bowel movements (stool is just not in long pieces, but not narrow), so now im leaning toward IBS, does this sound correct??
