What Causes Lower Back Pain, Abdomen Cramping, Swollen Breast After Having Mirena?

Hello, I have had mirena in for about 9 months now. I have been having lower back pain, very serious cramping in my lower abdomen, feeling like it's going through to my butt. My breast our swollen and very heavy and sensitive. I've never been pregnant. I also, been having really dark blackish/brown clumpy discharge.

Hello madam, from the history you have given, mirena contains the progesterone, levonorgestrel which does causes side effects like break through bleeding, nausea, breast tenderness.But in case the symptoms worsen, you may have to consult your gynaecologist, wherein you may require an examination to see if mirena is in its proper position, and everything is fine . hope i was helpful to you.
