Need help putting together what is going on with my 8yr old daughter. She has been complaining of stomach pain for over a month now. All her lower abdomen, below the belly button. It is not made worse with food. She is not bloated but says it does hurt when palpated. We have been to the Doctors 3 times now. We have been giving her miralax and had an X-ray done. They said is showed a moderate amount of stool. So I gave her a couple days of children's laxatives as well. She has been stooping regularly, sometimes twice a day. Not bloated and eating normally.
My concern is that something is being missed. 30+ days is too long for an 8yr old to have stomach pain. She complains about leg pain on and off. Saying her "bruises hurt." She has no fever or any flu like symptoms. This morning she showed me a nodule on her inner wrist. Which I know can be nothing but with all her other symptoms it's peculiar. I am thinking of asking them to do blood work. Any thoughts?
