Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Not to worry. Total leukocyte is on lower side of normal. It is just below normal and not to worry.
2. If neutrophils is 23%, he possibly has more lymphocytes indicating a viral infection. Not to worry, it will improve.
3. Diet rich in Vit B12, folic acid and proteins is essential. However, do not take granulocyte transfusions. No complications at present. Do not worry. Nutritional diet will be helpful.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
