What Causes Liquid Discharge From Nipples When Squeezed?
In my right breast on my areola, one of the lumps there on the right of my nipple leaks a thin black liquid when i apply gentle pressure to it. I have naturally lumpy breasts according to my doctor and there is no pain to accompany this. It never comes out on its own, only when i squeeze it (gently). All other lumps/ducts (not sure what they are called) either don t really have any liquid when squeezed or its clear. Is this a serious problem? im also on the contraceptive implant. I remember that since a young age this particular duct in question has always had liquid in when squeezed but i cant remember the colours it s been. help?
A mild amount of liquid clear discharge on squeezing the breast is normal and is not worrisome. You can get a mammogram done to rule out any lumps in the breast.
