What Causes Light Pink Vaginal Bleeding And Back Pain After An Unsafe Intercourse?

I had unprotected sex 4 days ago and am now experiencing light pink blood after I wipe and cramps that make me feel like I need to go toilet but I dont. I also have back pains and was due for my depo jab to be redone in August but haven t gotten around to it. Any ideas?

Hi,

You want to know the reason for pink vaginal discharge after unprotected intercourse:-
1. Pink discharge after sex is commonly due to rough intercourse, wear/tear in the vaginal tissue or cervix.
2. It can be due to STI, Chlamydia or PID. Get pelvic examination & STD tests done, you may need antibiotics & antivirals.
3. It can be a sign of Implantation bleeding, practice safe sex.
4. It can be a sign of ovulation.

To get relieved from the pain you can take Ibuprofen, hope I have answered your query.
