What Causes Light Headedness, Strong Nausea Followed By Sweating And High BP?

I just got back from seeing my Dr. She didn't know what is wrong with me. For last 3 weeks I have periodic episodes as follows. 2 seconds of light headedness, followed by medium to strong nausea that gradually dissipates over an hour. Sometimes accompanied by profound sweating. Blood pressure runs about 158/98 during these times - normal for me is 135/90. I have checked blood sugar 118 after fasting, 130~ throughout day and no correlation with episodes. male 42yrs 268lbs recently quit smoking 5 weeks ago. meds include zantac 150mg 2 times a day and verapamil 120mg x2 daily.
