Hi

Pelvic infections can present with vaginal discharge, fever, chills and menorrhagia which is excess vaginal bleeding.Uterine fibroids, endometriosis can also cause abnormal bleeding.

Pelvic ultrasound should be done to rule out uterine or ovarian disorders.I would suggest you to visit your gynaecologist for a clinical examination and investigation.

Sexual history has not been mentioned. In case of any history of recent sexual intercourse, sexually transmitted infection screening and a vaginal smear may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
