Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

Lack of sleep is commonly due to stress.
Or in your case it could be due to neck pain.

This is not pain in hypothalamus. It could just be a muscle spasm or cervical spondylosis.

Do you have lot of work on computer?

Do you have lot of work stress?

I would suggest you to practice some relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.

Also tablet ibuprofen can help to relieve pain. This will also help to improve sleep.

If needed, drugs like zolpidem (prescription drug) can help to attain good night's sleep.

Thanks.
