What Causes Leg Discomfort Along With Twitching In The Eyes And Dizziness?
I am a 48 yr old male 6 3 190. fairly active lifestyle. Runner and volleyball player. I am married 20 yrs now with 2 boys one who is 18 and getting ready for college and a 13 yr old. Back in mid October I had a middle ear infection and bronchitis and ever since I have been experiencing a strange anxious sensation in my legs. kinda like butterfly s in your stomach but in my legs. I also experience eye twitching, occasional pins and needles feeling in legs and arms, shortness of breath and lightheadedness. Its to the point that I am no longer active due to shortness of breath and lightheadedness. I ve had a chest xray for breathing problems, an emg for the leg symptoms and an eye exam for eyes. Everything comes back normal. Could I be experiencing stress or anxiety?

Based on the history you have shared, the symptoms most probably appear to be stress induced however endocrine causes like thyroid and cortisol levels may be done alongside sugar levels monitoring.
Micronutrients deficiencies may be ruled out, with B12 and folic acid levels especially. If normal a psychiatrist review for anxiety or underlying depression.
